Implied Line

The defenition of implied line is "a line in artwork that is not physically there but is suggested by points in the artwork." To show an example of implied line I chose to do a painting by African artist Cheri Samba. I felt that this was a good example because the children that appear to be playing games all share the same midpoint which is located on the building. The line on the buidling gives the other images a three dementional effect, which ultimitley makes the picture breathtaking.
